kit: a command-line developer tool, built in public. Currently adding the layered config feature (file + environment + defaults) and improving error messages on the first-run path.

Learning

• Reading the source of the tools I use daily, one function at a time.
• Flutter state management: applying the boundary ideas from my writing to a mobile codebase.
• Slow, deliberate code review practice.

Writing

• A series on small changes and reviewable diffs.
• Notes toward a guide on designing CLI error messages.

Working on

Maintainable systems, developer tooling, and open source, in whatever order the week demands.
