Overview
clipb copies file paths to the system clipboard without leaving your terminal. It prints the copied paths back to stdout so you can chain it into other commands, and it handles spaces, symlinks, and relative paths correctly. No wrappers, no daemons, no bloat.
Architecture
clipb is a thin Rust binary: resolve the argument into an absolute path, write it to the system clipboard, and print the resolved path back to stdout so it can be chained into other commands.
Capabilities
- Copies file paths without leaving the terminal
- Resolves relative paths and symlinks correctly
- Prints the copied paths to stdout for chaining
Installation
cargo install --git https://github.com/coccinella-labs/clipbRun it from any directory; the resolved path lands on the clipboard and on your stdout.
